Founding member Jerry Mitchell had the initial idea for the Framed Artists Group’s concept in 2009 when he took a photo of his daughter and wanted to embellish it to capture the imagination of the image.
After more than ten years, Jerry teamed up with his best friend and Framed co-founder, Vincent Blair, to realize the beauty of developing a community of artists through collaboration. Their first collaborative work and the first Framed Artists Group piece turned into a three-piece set with one in Tampa and the other two in Houston, TX
With this spirit in mind, artists of different media have come together to create unique works of art than cannot be replicated. They are each one of a kind, and they all embody the art of collaboration.
