Flamenco
While living in Spain, Rachel fell in love with Spanish culture and felt drawn to flamenco dancing. She captures the intensity of the dance with this piece using bold colors and flowing lines.
The Green Door
On a trip to Tangier, Morocco, Rachel saw this door and had to paint it. Using a structure built by Jerry Mitchell, she combined oils, acrylics, and a small amount of rough cement to bring the painting to life with texture.
