Magic in the Mirror

This project started in 2009 with the base photograph. Photographer Jerry Mitchell had intended to complete the image with photo editing software but found that it lacked the magic he had envisioned. This was the seed that planted the idea of the Framed Artists Group. In 2020, amid COVID-19, Mitchell met Liza Compass while volunteering at the Old Hyde Park Art Center to hang art for an upcoming exhibition. Soon, the photograph was printed and handed off, and the magic happened.
